Please speak to our friendly and supportive admin team for our clinic fees.

We also adopt and abide by the APS Code of Ethics.

“The General Principles were set by the APS in its Code of Ethics. The Code was developed to safeguard the welfare of clients of psychological services and the integrity of the profession. In 2010 it was adopted by the Psychology Board of Australia as
the code that all psychologists should abide by.” – Excerpt taken from the APS website.

Our sessions are by appointment-ONLY. Some of our sites are home-based offices and do not have onsite admin staff to greet drop-ins.

Please ensure appointments are scheduled either by phone or online.

You do not need a referral to book an appointment.

Our services may be subsidised by private health insurance. Check with your insurance provider if psychology is included in your plan.

The Better Access initiative gives Medicare rebates to help people access mental health professionals and care.

Eligible people can receive up to 10 individual and up to 10 group allied mental health services each year.

The first step is talk to your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist and discuss whether this would be suitable. If so, they will be able to prepare a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan for you.

Our admin support team can also help you with ensuring the paperwork is completed prior to your appointment.

Our Employee Assistance Programs offer short-term and individualised counselling sessions for employees. These sessions are designed to include debriefing, solution focussed therapy, and recommendations for future support (if required). Both personal and professional matters are considered appropriate for these sessions, as does being accessible to immediate family members as well as the employee.

If you are an EAP client, your session fees are covered by your organisation.

If your organisation is part of our Employee Assistance Program, and would like to book a session, please call directly on 0412 299 537

Cancellation Policy

We will endeavour to send you reminders 24 hours prior to your appointments.

We understand that sometimes things can happen or change between appointments.

We kindly ask that where possible 24 hours notice is given to reschedule or cancel an upcoming appointment. This allows us time to offer the apportionment to other clients who are in need and are waiting on the cancellation list.

Unfortunately where you were able to provide us with 24 hours notice for changes and did not, then:

• Full fee clients will be charged the cost of the session; or
• CAREinMIND clients will forfeit the session from their allocated number of sessions per pack.

You will be notified by SMS if the above applied to your account in the situation.

Registration and Consent

When you make your initial appointment with us, you will receive a digital client registration and consent form for you to complete before your first appointment.

A digital copy of these forms will be provided to you, and a hardcopy is available on request.

We only collect and record personal information from you that is relevant to your situation, such as your name, contact information, medical history and other relevant information as part of providing psychological services to you.
